Does anyone have experience with these? I saw one at the ICRBE rated 2-6 oz in clear finish (carbon weave showing). I remember it as being very light but with lots of power down deep in the blank. It MAY have been a prototype as I haven't seen any advertised. Re: Phenix Surf rod blanks

pretty sure the line you are talking about is the black diamond hybrid series. i picked up a 20-50 9 footer while at mudholes showroom. It was one of those rare blanks that speaks as soon as you touch it, without even bending it. it said "you cant break me". the price tag made me shy away from it though, ive been kicking myself ever since i left for not buying it. i was thinking how i was gonna sell it.. that price tag was more than double what i pay for 2 gsb's. now i just have that wanna build it passion floating around in my head... i'll most likely oder it with my next batch. just to shut my creative drive up. Rats! I have a customer that has a "price is no object" build he wants done & I figured I could get one to shake & one to make. He's looking for a 12 or 13 footer at 2-6 oz (or better) terminal tackle. Hopefully they'll get one out of prototype soon. Re: Phenix Surf rod blanks

12-13 is a 2 pc deal eh? no go for me. i would however drive across the country to get it in a single piece version. omg that would be nastiest 12 foot of anything ever. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
