F is F-stop (aperature opening) and 100 ISO is 100 film speed.

If you can, set your camera for the smallest or lowest quality images it will take (the internet is a low quality medium, it will not display high resolution images and defaults them to 72dpi at about 600 pixels square in most cases. The photo page will do the same if the photo is within a reasonable size limit, but beyond a certain limit, it just becomes overwhelmed.

I open large, high resolution photos with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. You can click on the Edit Pictures tab, then hit the resize button. Click the button by the Custom width X height spot, it will automatically populate the numbers. Save it this way and it should be of a manageable size and still pretty good quality.
