Hello .
I read a few month ago something about the Fuji K serie , those K would be heavier than the "classic " Fuji .... Well, I guess it has to do with the frame... So what about the smaller T-KTSG #4 versus T-LSG #4 ? ......................( T-LSG #4 weight 0.0518 gramm = 0.001827 OZ =0.799 grain) By the way are the T-KTSG #3.5 only available in Japan ? ...... ( His weight would be Interesting too :) .....T-LSG #3.5 =0.0396g) --> The battle against unnecessary weight !!! Thank. D. Re: Weight of T-KTSG versus T-LSG ?

Didier,
When you build a rod, weight is a consideration. But there are other considerations as well. In the case of whether to use the K series guide, the most important thing to consider is the unique design for a unique purpose. i.e. shedding line loops and wind knots of very fine limp braided line. If this is the style line that you are going to use on the rod, then the K series guides are a good option. If, on the other hand, you have no intention to use line that is troubled by loops and knots, you might want to entertain the use of a different guide - liighter or heavier - that is up to you. Hello .
Thank you Roger . I believe the k serie guide would be helpfull for me , as i am building light spinning rod , and will use very ligth braid ( very limp and expensive too , as the japanese 8 strand braid / ) I have the LBD Fuji #5 , and they work very well (The shape is effective and nice )! So I also bought the LBD Fuji #4 , wich are the smallest . (But heavier that the LSG #4...) Size 3 and 3.5 would be desirable, but they are not available . That's why i want to try the K serie . The only thing about the K serie is that the FORHAN LOCKING WRAP is not easy , if I'm not mistaken. On the paper the K are nice , but weight is an issue , so the light LSG are still in the race . D. I have just found this : ( on a Russian forum)
T-KTSG 3J T-KTSG 3.5J 0,04g T-KTSG 4J 0,05g T-KTSG 4.5J 0,06g T-KTSG 5J 0,08g T-KTSG 5.5J 0,10g T-KTSG 6J 0,13g T-KTSG 7J 0,16g T-KTSG 8J 0,26g T-KTSG 10J 0,46"g T-LSG 3.5J 0,04g T-LSG 4J 0,05g T-LSG 4.5J 0,06g T-LSG 5J 0,07g T-LSG 5.5J 0,11g T-LSG 6J 0,12g T-LSG 7J 0,16g T-LSG 8J 0,25g T-LSG 10J 0,42g That answers my question. T-KTSG 4J = T-LSG 4J = 0.05g and T-KTSG 3.5J = T-LSG 3.5J = 0.04g Hope this will help . D. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
