I've recently seen some feather inlays on some butt wraps and the look great. What is the best way to attach the feather to the blank for final epoxy? Any ideas Re: Feather Inlays

Use color preserver. Put a thin coat on the rod blank, let it get tacky, then put a small amount on you thread tool, touch it to the feather to pick it up, then place it on the rod. Use the thread tool in a rolling action to smooth out the feather. When the perserver is dry, apply a coat to the feather. Allow to dry overnight, then apply the finish.
