Any ideas on how to incorporate a Quick Lock reel seat nut with a carbon fiber foam core? How to properly drill out so quick lock will fit in, or should I use the prefab cork grip sold for them and lay the carbon fiber over that? Ive seen pictures of them done with eva so i figure it will be about the same process, but would really like to incorporate the carbon. Thanks in advance for any info.
Also does anybody know of any place where i can find micro guides with titanium frames and gold rings. Thanks Chris Sadler Re: Quick Lock

I would shape and size the foam core just about a milimeter undersize and then skin it. But could be tough to get the shape right. You could always buy one of the preformed cork grips Fuji offers to mate with that seat and just sand it down a little and skin that. I cannot believe there would be that much difference in the foam and cork. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
