I have had several inquiries about the Minima 4 guides- these are the chrome guide with chrome ring. . I do have them ALL in stock- unfortunately a size 3 is listed but is not available and no date for availability has been determined.

Fly series:
XF4XG sizes 4 thru 10

Spin-High Frame
XM4XG sizes 4 thru 25

Spin
XSV4XG sizes 4 thru 30

I also have the matching tops.

I've been wondering why they have been so 'Elusive'? Production problems? They're my guide of choice for my inshore rods and have been hard to get until now.

Pac Bay is going to be at the get together at the Lamiglas factory tomorrow, I'll ask them.

I've not had any problems getting them. I think the term "elusive" is tongue in cheek.

Talk to Pac Bay, they said they're have problems with the tool that installs the ring in the frame of the 3 mm minimas, they also said to expect the ID to be in the 4.5 or a bit larger area. Tom caught my fumble and took it in for me, I should of said they thought, off the top of their head, that the ID would be in the range of a "4.5 mm Alconite riing diameter."

The Minima 4 size #4 guides have a 3.5mm opening.

The problem with anything smaller in this type guide is that the amount of stretch needed to swage the rings into the frame just isn't there on the smallest rings so they tend to split on the edges.
