The photos are not doing justice to the guide. That has more to do with my poor photography skills than anything to do with the guide.
[www.rodbuilding.org] The thing i had to struggle with is that i usually line up the bottom of the guide inserts from stripper to running guide. In this case that is the bottom of the insert to the little guide in the middle of the bigger guide! Next to a yardstick it just looks odd. My first chance to do more than cast it will only come in early May, then i can judge for myself if it lowers my wind knot problems with braid: i have a similar rod with M style minimas that will be fished right along side this one. My son is asking me to make him one using K series guides so at the end of a week long trip i will know how the 3compare for my type of spring fishing. At the very least it could give some pier fishermen something else to talk about other than BP and gill nets. Re: More on wavespin

You can line up with the smaller of the two guides as that is where the line will be once it exits and heads towards the next guide.

Tom, that in my convoluted English is what i was trying to say i did. The problem is the yardstick in the picture makes it look like i messed up badly but you can peer down it by eye and all three form a great little set of concentric rings. Re: More on wavespin

Great. That's all you need to do.
