I've reached a point where I think it's time to say thank you to everyone who has helped me with my newbie progression. I started wrapping rods Nov. of last year. Boy was my stuff caveman looking. But the whole process from the purchasing of components to seeing the finished product is one I really get off on. This stuff is addicting and very rewarding. So I kept with it.
I've learned a lot on this site, everyone has been really cool with their time and help and I'd probably be pretty close to that caveman wrapper I started out as if not for sites like this. I dont post about rods anywhere else so I'm saying my thank you's here. This place reminds me of hanging out with my Grandma when school was out at her studio in Spanish Village. It's a place in Balboa Park, San Diego that artist gather to sell their pieces, share ideas and just work in a creative environment. I'll never forget listening to my Grandma talk to other artists, the respect level they had for each other and the willingness to help with new visions. Sites like this have all that and my work has benefited from it greatly. Thank you to every artist who has put their work out there for public view and wandering eyes like mine looking for answers.
