Sorry, I was off to Savannah for a tournament as soon as we returned. Did good too.:-)

Thank you to all who came to my seminars, bought our products or just stopped to share and chat. Vikki and I had a blast as usual.

My partner Capt Lee took a few pics [www.sportfishermen.com]

See you next year!

I'd be interested in hearing about that as well. I know they wanted to target striped bass but wasn't sure if they'd have time for a coastal trip.

I noticed that a new NC Striper Record was taken last month as well - a 63 pounder taken out of Oregon Inlet.

We got a late start on Monday (as we were all still dragging butt from the Expo) and we gave it heck for a few hours but the wind was pretty brutal and decided the dockside bar was a bit more comfortable.

Awesome and fun group of guys. Hardcore fishermen who know their stuff.

They left us with a bunch of their Ultra MBX rods to try out and we certainly put quite a few bends in them prefishing for our tournament. Nice blanks and a custom feel to their production rods.

Unfortunately they sold out of their new blanks at the show ( I can't recall their name) I'm anxious to test them out too.
