Kevin,
I know that Mudhole had an arrangement with Steve Morris of the Reel Rod Factory/ Top Shot Tackle owner, for the importing of his blanks, and have not seen them in their catalog for over seven or eight years or so. It has been rumored, and only rumored that the above mentioned company has closed their operation down in Australia. I do know that Wellsys Tackle in Australia did carry Status rods, that were built, and I am not sure about the arrangement to sell blanks. But that would be as good a starting point as any that I can think of for more information. I managed to purchase one blank probably five years ago, but in a lighter line class than you are looking for. I had asked Mudhole if they had any stashed away and was told they did not, and that was also quite some time ago. Andrew Re: Looking for blanks

Kevin,
Check with Dave at Angler's Workshop. Think they have some stand up 50 blanks, probably Calstar and Seeker since on West coast. [www.anglersworkshop.com] Merrick may have some of the Lamiglas as well as the previously mentioned brands. Also thought Batson had a FSU60 line that may fit the bill but don't know who may be carrying them currently in stock. Good luck! Re: Looking for blanks

We stock many of the Batson Saltwater blanks and components, and can order those that we don't.
That new FSU line is not only stout and good looking, but priced well. Here is a link; [www.schneidersrods.com] Best wishes, Ron Schneider Schneider's Rod Shop Mountain Home, Arkansas [www.schneidersrods.com] mtnron40@yahoo.com 870-424-3381 Re: Looking for blanks

I can order Baston. I use the fsu56 series on a daily basis. I order batson stuff weekly. If anyone needs anything, let me know....
The Status are a different blank and one that my customer has researched and wanted. Thanks for the input and I will keep looking. Kevin Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/16/2011 05:46PM by kevin knox. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
