Greater Boston area rod builders possible gathering?

After attending a great expo, one of the biggest things I learned that would help excel my building abilities is to talk to other rod builders in person and start sharing information. Anyone in the greater Boston area here want to get together and work on rods? I would like to get some gatherings happening around here. Send me an email if you are interested in getting together.

Rob,

If you decide to do something, let me know. I'll be happy to publish a note about it in the earliest available issue of RodMaker. The magazine reaches ten times more rod builders than the internet does.

Sure Tom, I think that would be great. I would like to get some sort of network going around this area.

If you can give me 60 days notice, I can get it in there for you. There are actually hundreds of builders in your area. I suspect this could be a winner.

Hey Rob something to think about here. In my business I have a 30,000 square foot building that includes a showroom area. If there is enough interest where we could not meet at a home workshop then we could use my warehouse. It's located in Framingham

Rob it was great meeting you at the Expo. I can't wait to get up there in April to do some cod fishing. I will give you a ring soon. If we can schedule it right maybe we can come up for this gathering too.

What could also be cool is a swap meet of sorts. Trade different colors of thread or grips. Heck even a blank you changed your mind on building.
