Hi, I can not seem to find the following items on their new website so I was just wondering if any of you know could point me in the right direction or tell me where else (maybe in the states) I could find the CA Fore Grip Winding Check, KDPS 16 Winding Check, and CA Double Colour Butt Cap as seen on this site [www.customanglers.com]. These look very similar or exactly like the ones used by our fellow Brazilian custom rod builder Marco. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Pedro Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/13/2011 12:27PM by Pedro Gomez. Re: Custom foregrip winding check question

Here is picture of a part I make from a regular Mudhole dimpled winding check which I turn down to fit in front of a standard reel seat.

Mike,
Thank you for your quick reply but I am actually looking for winding checks that would fit flush on top of a Fuji KDPS Quick-Lock Reel Seat Locking Nut, plus I really love the look of the CA Fore Grip Winding Check with internal tube but I haven't been able to find a close substitute. If you know of a place where I could find a similar tube or another cool looking winding check then I might actually use those instead. Thanks, Pedro Re: Custom foregrip winding check question

if you want them metal then take a look at the metal spinning article in rodmaker. it shows how to make your own Re: Custom foregrip winding check question

Thank you for your suggestion. In what volume can I find that article. I do not mind reading the article but I honestly do not think it would make sense for me to start making my own. I'll rather purchase them instead of spending the required time, effort, and a lot of money on equipment, plus I do not think I could ever make a foregrip winding check like the one in the pictures, not in a million years, unless I spend a serious amount of time going through the learning curve.
