I'm looking around for some matte metallic thread, does anyone know of any? It's to match some matte metallic colors on a reel. Re: matte metallic silver thread

Take a look at Sulky metallic. It's not as shiny bright as some. _________________________________________ "Angling is extremely time consuming. That's sort of the whole point." - Thomas McGuane Re: matte metallic silver thread

I use Coats and Clark silver metallic when I need a very matte silver. I got it at Wal Mart. It is a very decent metallic and very matte. I have also used a lot of their Copper Metallic. J.B.Hunt Bowling Green, KY Re: matte metallic silver thread

I only have one matte silver left ... plenty of matte gold thankfully. I would try Schneider's (link to the left) Rod Shop - they had a stash of Gudebrod awhile back. Actually, you should probably just go there and look in person - of course, stopping at the White River both coming and going. What a trout fishery!
