Hi
Some time ago I saw some pics of a beautiful wooden rod tube with brass ends. The maker gave a wed site address for the end caps, Now I can't find the info again. Can anyone help? John JLS Custom Rods Cassadaga, NY Re: rod tube build

It might have been the cases I make
[www.rodbuilding.org] If this is the one I get them from Landmark Components Re: rod tube build

Those are just a mitered joint cut at 30 degrees. You either need a good table saw with little or no runout or you can use a table router with a 30 degree bit. I use a table saw and set my blade using a digital angle cube. I figured out my sizes(widths of slats) using a Cad program. Re: rod tube build

Hey Dick, Could you email me the specs that you use? I'm a little too dumb to handle a cad program. I can run a table saw. I would like to make a couple of those rod cases for me.
Thanks! John Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
