I am having fits with EVA inlays. I realize a simple silhouette in a single color may be easier but that isn't what I want. Cutting the pattern in the grip and cutting out the sheet foam isn't at all bad, but when I try to glue the inlay into the grip, OMG! Is there any glue other than contact cement that will work? How about using epoxy and maybe taping the inlay into place with masking tape? Then when dry, sand tape and all?

You just answred your own question. Inlays that I have done over the years were taped with blue painters tape til dry, then I finished with a good wipe of acetone and a light sanding to remove glue or bulges.

Thanks John, I knew there had to be an easier way.
