I just put several coats of cp on my wraps and it looks like I used milk, what did I do wrong? Can I clean them up?

that is why with CP like flex-coat I thin mine a little so I don't get that milky look, just put at least three coats on.

Water or alcohol - may - take some of it off ???? I have a squeeze bottle. An eye dropper with water as it turns drop on the wrap and let it drip off. try it on one - let dry fully, clear and see. If not re-wrap .

YOu don't need 3 coats. 2 ismore than enough. With so many oats all you do is put CP on top of CP > the job of CP is to prevent fluids from soaking in, os once the threads are coated the extra appliations just sit on top and dr with that white haze.

Billy's right on. Maybe dripping water on it may thin and take some off. Or at least get rid of the milky look ?

What brand and type is it? There was an issue a while back with 811 that bit my butt on a butt wrap.

I always heat my CP up prior to use. Microwave on 8 or 10 seconds at a time or put it near a heater so that its warm to the touch before use. That works for me on Flex Coat. I got some U40 and it had a lot of white coagulation in it. I'm hoping that warming the u40 up in the microwave will fix it.
