Mark your calendars. A Rod Builders Gathering is coming to you.

A group of builders who meet on a regular basis is sponsoring this gathering and we are still in the planning stage but it is going well. It looks as if we will have two very well known builders coming from two other states. This maby our first gathering, but it is going to be a good one. Including numerous door prizes. from some of the sponsors to the left.

April 9th, 2011 at Sippo Lake Park in between Canton and Massillon. This will be a one day event.

Wow Bill, this is starting to take off. Thanks for taking the initiative and doing the leg work for our little group. We appreciate it. I can't wait to see how many builders we get.

I think this is going to be the best rod buiders gathering in Canton through out all history. LOL

I believe it will be a lot of fun and worth every bit of the time it takes. There is help from a few of the sponsors I contacted too. Luckily this is my slow time of year and the next one will be a lot easier and will take less time.

IT's the truth. You put it together, and push and push and it will come together. Once you get a core of guys, it will be much easier to do the gathrings, possibly at different locations. IMO, outside of a class, the gathrings are the way to go for spreading info and having a local network or community of builders which will make you enjoy the craft a littl more. I'm glad ot see you have a nice response here!!
