BIG thanks to Batson Enterprises

First I have to start with a huge Thank you to the great people of Batson Enterprises. I contacted Karry Batson a few weeks ago, and asked for a donation. I was already building a rod for the 2nd Annual NCBBA Red Drum Tournament, but wanted to do more. The North Carolina Beach Buggy Association has been helping, and fighting to keep the beaches open at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I originally asked Karry for possibly a xp 844, as they make great Trout Rods from the surf. I was blown away when he replied that Batson was donating a SUR 1567 blank and all the components. Thank you again so much. It is very refreshing to see a major component manufacturor take an interest in out fight to preserve access. Here is a gallery I posted on Batson's facebook page

Thanks

I'd like to also thank Batson Enterprises. They were able to donate materials for me to build a couple of rods for Silent @#$%& to benefit the Make-a-WIsh foundation. Outstanding products and outstanding folks that work at Batson.
