I saw a new NRX walleye jig rod at a sporting goods store last night. It pretty neat to see. It looked like they went with Fuji titanium sic "Y" frames for the stripping and transition guides. From there the choker and running guides where the black RECoils. Interesting to see a big name mixing guides to increase the performance of a rod. The blank felt more like a St. Croix SCV than a GLX to me. Much faster tip than I am used to from Loomis.
On a side note, the non REC guides seem to have some flexibility to them in the frame. Is this common with the titanium frames? Josh Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
