Does anyone know of a good tutorial on using cord on butt wraps? I did one a long time ago (circa 1975/6) but haven't done one since. Maybe this was covered in an issue of Rod Maker that I missed? I want to try one on a surf stick Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/16/2010 02:20PM by Ken Preston. Re: Looking for a tutorial on cord butt wraps

It was. Emory Harry wrote it but off the top of my head I don't recall which issue it was in. Maybe Volume 9 #3 or thereabouts.

Ken, are you asking about cord wrapped grips, or putting a cord wrap in place of a crosswrap in front of the grips? Re: Looking for a tutorial on cord butt wraps

Cord wrapped grips - in particular either as a complete butt wrap or between split grips on a surf rod. I looked for my original copy of Rod maker - but I think I must have lent it out so I ordered a new one. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/16/2010 08:06PM by Ken Preston.
