I want to remove the old paint/clear coating on my old graphite rod. Is there a safe solution that I can wipe on the rod to remove the coating without damaging the rod?
Also what is the best way to remove the old line guide wrap epoxy from the rod? Re: Refinishing old rod

Citrus stripper is my personal favorite. Safe and effective.
In respect to the epoxy ... a hair dryer and a credit card. Use the dryer to soften and the edge of the card to lightly scrape. Re: Refinishing old rod
