I am looking for help on doing multiple chevrons on a single rod...I have seen them but do not have a picture, so it is hard to describe. The chevrons seem to go around the entire rod and I was wondering how that is set up. I can do simple chevrons and other variations using chevrons, but when I try to do them around the rod, my results to do conform to my mental image of what I am loooking for. Maybe I was drinking too much when I saw this one rod. Clinton Re: Multiple chevrons

I think you only have to wrap one side of the rod,if I am under standing you correctly. You want the pattern right to left as opposed to up and down the rod? Re: Multiple chevrons

I have a picture but I took it from the Internet and am not sure about the ethics of posting someone else's work, even if just for illustrative purposes. Clinton Re: Multiple chevrons

Clinton I think what you are asking about is a double wrap. This would give you four chevrons (or diamonds). The ones on the top (0 degrees) and the bottom (180 degrees) would be opposite each other. On a single wrap the patterns on the top and bottom of the rod would be offsett by 1/2 the circumference of the blank.
Let me know if this is what you want as I'd rather not type a small book for no reason. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Re: Multiple chevrons

Hey guys, Clinton sent me a pic. It is a cheveron wrapped on 4 or 6 axis. You are correct Russ. I am headed to my Thursday night tournement, I will help tomorrow if no one has before that.
