Batson Blank Confusion

Just received three of the Batson newly released model TC blanks and I’m confused.

Can’t make up my mind on whether I like the feel, action, power or the lightness the best and that titanium color’s not helping matters either.

So far the only decision been able to make, was to pull the St Croix SC5 been working on off the lathe.
So I could put the XMB944.5 TC 7'10" in and get started.
Chose it for a heavy flipping/punch rod for when I wanted something a little longer the 7’6 incher’s been using.

The XSB802.75 TC 6'8” for dock skipping, and just playing with it, think it’s going to be perfect.
It shouldn’t take more then a flick of the wrist for that baby to skip baits up under docks and stuff.

The XP964 TC 8'0" (labeled as an inshore popping corks /redfish /snook rod.)
For a cranking stick, it has a little more power then the Shikari PP804's I normally use (and am running out of). The Batson also has a more consistent flex deeper into the blank.
Should provide a little better hooking, while at the same time permit more flex forgiveness from strong surging fish helping to keep them buttoned better on treble hooks.

Now the truth;
Am waiting on a tip for the SC5, so I jumped on the opportunity to start the Batson.

Talked with Lance at Swampland earlier today and he said he had about 85 different Batson models in stock.

Chuck
When you finish please let me know what you think. I believe several of these are going to make excellent crossover blanks.
