what is difference on guide

been sit down and study on FUJI guides on all of alconite regular and mirco, well i'm take a look at regular alconite guide, well i was sit and thinking of building a crankbait rod in 7 footer medium, then take look at guide for first guide start at 12, and i want curious what difference and compare between on casting guide
BLNAG 12 light frame for freshwater situation ?? vs BMNAG 12 ( med-heaey spinning/casting guide is it use for heavy duty freshwater and all purpose saltwater situation ? Josh Re: what is difference on guide

Those 2 guides are pretty much the same, except one is a heavier framed guide. By the same token, the M will weigh a bit more. Don't let the designation "light" and "heavy" trick you: the light frames are plenty strong enough for light to medium inshore saltwater work. Re: what is difference on guide

BMNAG guides belong on HEAVY rods ... 30# class and higher. I use them on saltwater rods at 30# class and higher.
