Will Perma Closs and Aluma Seal hold guides as well as the thread epoxies? If so how many coats does it take? Of coarse the bottle has directions.....Thanks Re: Wrap finish

It's the thread that holds the guides. Epoxy finish seals them up. I've seen rods that had no finish at all, just old, faded thread holding the guides, and still catching fish. Re: Wrap finish

PermaGloss is the toughest, hardest, stuff you can use to coat thread wraps with. But it will not look like epoxy. Not quite as smooth.
Lumaseal will be very similar. ................. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
