when i get off from doing practice and jump on computer and search for somethings through youtube.com and i have notice when guy show wrap a guide then he doing the 2nd wrap on same place i figure is it called a underwrap ?
how do it went when anyone who do twice wrap on each guide ? and why ?? can do on freshwater rod or saltwater ?? josh Re: notice something

Waste of time on most fresh water rods, and many salt water rods. Used mostly on heavy type stuff built for catching larger or stronger fish to protect the rod from the guides feet during the fight. Re: notice something

If the fish isnt over 80 lbs and has the pull of a Buick it aint worth it to underwrap. Us east coast offshore fisherman need the underwarp in case something bigger than we intention hits the line. Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: notice something
