Bullet Connectors Query

Hi Guys,
I'm making up another wrapper from spares I've accumulated from my PacBay wrapper.
Now at the stage of wiring the wrapper motor and drying motor with a rheostat. Looking at the wiring of my original PacBay wrapper there are several wires that are joined together, black to black red to red etc using plastic bullet connectors.
I've looked everywhere here in the UK but as I dont know what they are called I've not been succesful.
What do you guys call these connectors and where can I buy some?
Thanks again for all your help.
Cheers,
Phil.

I beleive you are looking for one of the many types of crimp connectors.
Have a look here to find what you are looking for and then order online or locally.

Phil,
You can go ahead and use any crimp connector that is normally available in auto supply stores or in hardware stores.

If not, you can simply twist the wires together and tape them up with electrical tape.

Or, you can twist them together and solder them together and then tape them with electrical tape or use heat shrink tubing to cover the joint.

You can even use something like masking tape or adhesive tape to cover the joint.

Take care
Roger

If you twist your wires together I would suggest putting on Shrink Tubing. First.

Then twist them. After this is done the shrink tubing can be slid over the bare wires and heated to shrink and make a very nice seal. I used to do this on Bike Harnesses. Motor cycles. This is a permanent connection. Look for ends if you plane on taking them apart in the future.
