St. Croix blank comparison

My favorite trout rod is built on a St. Croix 5S59ULF blank. Yesterday I came really close to breaking the rod, which is bound to happen one day so I need to build a replacement. Does any one know how the 5S60ULF2-G compares? The 5S59ULF had an extremely light tip and a nice fast action that made it easy to cast very light jigs. I have tried the 3S60ULF, which is a fine blank, but not as much to my liking. I'm not crazy about a 2 piece blank but if the action is right, I could get by? If anyone has a 5S59ULF that they aren't going to use, I would be happy to buy it.

Thanks
Jim

Jim,
Just og to a good fishing rod store that has a complete inventory of St Croix products.
Check out each of the potential candidates for yourself and you can make the best decision.

Jim,
if u are live in wisconsin, you would have stop at st. croix factory in park falls wi, they have all models of st. croix in stock u can look at and see which one u would want.
i only live abt 1 1/2 hr away from st. croix factory and i have been go there and take a feel and shake it and play around and i have got some of musky legnend casting rod
they have good flyrod, spinning, casting and every saltwater.. i have been go in tour of factory at st. croix it was amazing tour i ever see and learn alot about they doing the handcrafting on all st.croix rods
if u have any st. croix dealer closer to your area by put ur zip code at st.croix site..

Thanks for the advise fellas. If I could find a retailer around here that carried the full St. Croix line I would be in business. There are a lot of stores in my area that carrry the avid series and down, but not a lot that carry the legend elite, which is what the blank would be when built into a rod. I guess I will keep looking.

Thank you
Jim
