Am. Tackle Classic High Modulus

I'm trying to get info on the American Tackle Classic series high modulus. Specifically the ACMB843. I really like what I saw from them at the expo but I can't seem to find any vendors. There is another pro builder in my area using them but I heard through the grapevine that he gets them direct. Thanks for any help.

I'd have to believe that Mud Hole stocks them or can get them in half a minute - their warehouse is in the same building as American Tackle's warehouse. Any American Tackle dealer should be able to obtain them for you.

Thanks Tom. I make a trip to Mudhole almost monthly. I'll ask next time.

I'd bet my next paycheck that SHX from Bingham are not the same as the MHX from Mudhole.

It gets murkier with Bingham, they have SHX same as MHX, and Made in the USA SHX, two completely different things.

"ACMB843 = MHX MB843"

The specs are very slightly different:

MHX MB843 = 10-17, 3/16 - 3/4, .59, 5, 2.1

ACMB843 = 10-17, 1/4 - 3/4, .595, 5, 2.1

But close enough that I beleive you, maybe just differ in the labels. I remember them feeling very similar from the expo but I also wiggled 100+ blanks that day. I have been very happy with my MHX's so far.

I think I'm all set now. Thanks for your help everyone.

Steve

I have some SHX models blanks made here in the USA - these are listed as such on my website. I also have import SHX model blanks-- check the specs very similar to the other ones mentioned. I would also like to say that we are expanding our SHX import line to include at least 6 new models coming this summer, at a price point that many of you are looking for.
Keep watching for the announcement-
