Do you guys ever use Permagloss instead of epoxy in order to keep the texture of the threads so they can be felt, opposed to completely blending them into epoxy?
Also if you have done this, have you ever measured how much weight savings there was using the Permagloss? Re: Question for thread artist?

I've done it. Not sure it really looks as good as the epoxy in that application. But that's subjective.
As far as weight savings, there is sure to be some, but in that area of the rod it wouldn't amount to anything that the human hand could ever notice from any aspect whatsoever. ...................... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
