I am preparing to build a spinning rod using a Rainshadow 7'6" flipping stick blank, paired with a Team Daiwa Advantage 3500A loaded with 30lb braid.
Somewhere around 15 years ago a friend of mine bought a rod that had the smallest eyes that I had ever seen at the time. It was a little ahead of its time. It casted farther than any rod i had ever seen. This got me to thinking about putting some micro guides on the rod I am planning on building. I was hoping some fellow builders could help me with some input on the guides sizes. Any advice would be a great step in the right direction. I can't thank you enough in advance for your time and help. Matt Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/28/2010 03:55PM by Matthew Sattazahn. Re: Micro Guide Size Choice
