Hey guys. I used a friend's Musky Innovations casting rod last year for Kings. And it was nice. I want to build something similar. But I can't seem to find a good blank for it. I was hoping for a Batson blank, but don't see what I'm looking for. I want build a similar one for me and make it a spiral wrap. I have a nice Shimano Calcutta TE 400 reel to put on it. I would like a 2 piece solution instead of the 1 piece.
Here's the stats on the rod: 8 foot Power: medium Superline: 20-80# lure weight 3/4-4.0 oz. Exclusive tTec IM8+ Microweave graphite It's a Bull Dawg Series spring/bucktail on the label. Any guidance would be great guys. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 03/28/2010 02:46AM by John Lubben. Re: Musky Innovations type rod blank?

get one of their blanks (musky inovations) , call up reaction strike , speak to Rick Quade and ask him to sell you a blank or two , he will tell you he has to get them from china and it can be up to 90 days before you receive it ... Re: Musky Innovations type rod blank?

The Batson IMU710MH may be fairly close, I have not fished the MI blank, but everyone loves the 710MH.
