unidirectional graphite blank

i'm looking for a unidirectional graphite blank and do anyone know where to get or store that i can check on website ? well i'm trying to figure out about get a unidirectional graphite balnk cos my friend show me his rod with unidirectional grpahite with im6 and it look nice and has a fast action on it but it's crankbait series and i will like to get some unidirection grapite in 6 1/2 to 8 footer

The power fibers - the ones that count, run linear. When you see a blank made from the older woven graphite material, it's generally a lower modulus material (high modulus graphite won't take the sharp bend required in such a woven material). Overall, those blanks are not going to be as efficient as those with mostly linear fiber construction.
You might want to take a look at the American Tackle Matrix series. These are mostly of linear fiber construction but have a butt to mid section layer of the woven type material. This might provide you with the particular aesthetics you want without paying too high a price on the efficiency end of things. ............. Re: unidirectional graphite blank
