Cason's Original Color Preserver was introduced at the ICRBE last week and I just wanted to let everyone know that we have it in stock in one, two and four oz bottles. This is the solvent based CP. The water based formula will be available at a later date.

And to add a note to this: It's great!. I have used both the solvent based and the water based. The solvent based is terrific for everything except snakeskin inlays. The water based product works fine for snakeskin. Re: New Color Preserver

I was fortunate enough to be able to test it. I tested it on Silk, Gudebrod Nylon and Madeira. It worked better than any I have used before especially on the troublesome silk.

I am the Vice-President of Cason's Crystal Clear and I am very proud of our product. I think that it is the best available CP on the market. We hope to introduce a full line of products to include rodbuilders glue and rod finish. The addition of UV protection sets us apart from the other CP's on the market. We plan to offer a rod finish with UV protection in the near future. We will update you on our progress as new products are developed.

Just used some of the water based on a snakeskin and feathers butt section, nice product. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
