In Silvia's post about the Expo she mentioned Bill Poe.
When I saw his name in the post I yelled out and my wife thought
something was wrong!!She came a running.

Do you(Silvia) or Steve have his contact information?

My late father had a rod that was built by him.When Pop died
I got the rod from my Mom.Its a 6'6" spinning rod and its well use by my Dad.
I put it up and don't use it,sometimes rods git broken around me!
I would like to contact Mr.Poe about the rod.

Oh how wonderful this has all been. If you could have only seen Mr. Poe, he looks great and 20 years younger than his actual age. What a sweetheart. Yes I have his information. Contact me at BullardIntlD2@aol.com and I will put you in touch.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, and of course, you know we have now lost Gene as well. Aren't these items treasured jewels to us now? I was talking to Tony Politi who won the "One and Only" Gene Bullard signature rod at the ICRBE this weekend. He understands full well what that rod symbolizes and I know it is in special hands. We have a special ad coming out in the RodMaker Magazine this next issue so be sure to look for it.

Hey, I sure would like a good digital photo of that rod you mentioned. Do you think we might be able to work that out?

Silvia,
I would be honored to send you a picture of this rod.
I am gonna be out of town this weekend,but I will git my wife to take a picture.
Her business is doing scrapbooking ,videos and of course picture taking.

My wife and I meet Tony at the reception on FRiday nite.We sat down beside him and introduced each other.
We really enjoyed visiting with him on Friday and Saturday at the Expo.Super nice guy.If I couldn't have won the rod
it could not have happen to a nicer guy.lol
I am going to contact Mr.Poe and arrange a visit with him and I may go on down to Fishsticks while I am in the neighborhood.
Only bout a 2 hour drive.
Well I am off to the NorthWest River on the border of Va and NC in search of ciation Yellow Perch.
