Tiger Wrap finish ?

First let me start by saying thanks to Tom and a few others for helping me with this awhile back. I believe I have it down pat now. I have done several rods and two pool cues, yep even a pool stick. and they all turned out nice.

My concern is with the finish I usually apply two coats of Flex coat completing the wrap and enhancing the effect..
My concern is with the F.C as the finish. it is not very much scratch scuff resistant. Is there another step I could seal the FC with to give it a better tougher armor.

Most any of the epoxies are going to be subject to scuffing and scratching - they're not very hard. Most good urethanes are much harder. I haven't tried overcoating an epoxy with anything, much less a urethane, but I guess you could try a little experiment just to see if its possible.

Failing that, I think what you're going to have to do is block sand your epoxy and apply a fresh, shiny coat. Hopefully you won't have to do this very often.
