Tiger/holo wrap finish problems

I am having a devil of a time keeping the bubbles out of the CP (brilliance) on the top wrap. I think it is due to the spacing. Anyone else have this problem? I've tried several different types of brushes but sill the same results.

The one thing you don't want to do is brush the CP on. Never do that with CP or with epoxy - that simply causes bubbles and the situation is worse when you try to brush it over a spiraled thread.

Do this - dip your brush in the CP. Hold the brush above the wrap and then lower the brush to the wrap until it lightly contacts the thread wrap. Now hold the brush still and rotate the rod one turn. Stop. Move the brush over and repeat. After one or two revolutions, you may need to redip the brush and reload it with more CP. The threads should be nice and wet and will turn a uniform dark color. The color will come back up once dry.

Just as in applying epoxy, the less you do the better off you'll be. Never brush any CP or epoxy onto a thread wrap.
