I feel like I have to mention this every year - those of you coming toteh show, wear a name tag. IT makes it much easier for the vendors to carry a conversation and remember who you are if we know what your name is. YOu can also laugh at us after we act like we know who you are, but are constantly peeking at teh nametag before we say your name, lol. Re: Name Tags at ICRBE

Keep in mind, that less than 5% of the Expo attendees use this website. So remember, when you see most people there not wearing name tags, it's not because they didn't listen to you - they just never heard you to begin with.
As in all of the past 7 Expo's, there will be free name tags available at the door prize registration table. But again, few will see this and most folks don't seem to want to wear them anyway. ............. Re: Name Tags at ICRBE

Nope, that's about it. That's why rod building events that rely on the internet as their main form of advertising don't draw well. Direct mail is the only way to get the word out and it's terribly expensive. But it's also very effective.
Even though Cabelas, Bass Pro, Orvis, etc., all have online catalogs and websites, there remains a reason why they continue to publish millions and millions of print catalogs each year - that's still the best way to reach people by a wide, wide margin. ...................
