I have seen some one posted about light colors "fade" or "just go away" after sometime, specially when exposed to hi UV radiations, or let´s call them "Sunny Days". Now I had a similar problem with "rust color", from a spool that came unlabeled. Any one knows what number and manufacturer could be the case? Is it a matter of quality? What do you think? THANKS!!! Solana, I had a similar experience with regular rust colored thread. But this was on a rod that I had built for one of my friends that fishes often. In my case the finish darkened therefore changing the way the color looked. The Texas summers on the coast are terribly hot and the UV really does age or change the color of any finish that we use. Someone sent me a sample of their epoxies to use and I had the bottles sitting next to a window, which had curtains, and the sample turned dark before I got to use it.
