Could somebody post a close up picture of this blank? I have searched the photo album here and the web and I haven’t been able to find a good shot. I have seen them in person and know they are a kind of olive green but it is hard to describe to a customer.
Thanks Mike Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/07/2010 02:18PM by mike harris. Re: Seeker BS706S color?

I don't have a photo of a BS706S but I wish I had a few. You are right about it being a dark olive green and it has about a .500 butt and 5.5 or 6 tip. its not much to look at but has a great feel. It will make a great small crank bait or even spinner bait rod. I doubt that it will mean anything to your customer but Rich Forhan loves this blank. Have you got a source for the S glass BS706S? I do not want the E glass which is black. Re: Seeker BS706S color?

Here's a photo of one I just built. According to Rich it's a great fiberglass blank to fish everything from spinnerbaits to large deep diving crankbaits. That was the best I could do with the photo.
The butt section is .785 and not .500 and the tip size is 5.5. [www.rodbuilding.org] Lance Re: Seeker BS706S color?

I use a BS706s and 756s for walleye and bass all along the Delaware river and local lakes. These blanks have great action and good power. The color is natural S-glass or green. Kind of a Army green!! Re: Seeker BS706S color?

I coined the baby s@&! green for the natural S-glass Seekers.. I figured it wasn't appropriate.. But you are right!! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
