Looking at the following blank to use for a new build primarily for rattle trap type lures and crankbaits, wonder if anyone had any input on these blanks:
CB843-Blend 7' 8-14 3/16 - 5/8 MOD-FAST MED Action Re: MHX Blanks

I haven't built on the CB843-MHX, but I have built several of the CB841-MHX and CB845-MHX ... absolutely no complaints. IMO, a good value. Re: MHX Blanks

I have built a Spinning rod with one, I use an older FIN-NOR AHAB 8 for the reel. Built for for inshore fishing in the Carolinas. I have been catching winter trout and Red fish here over the Christmas holidays. The tip is fast enough to not spook the trout when they take a plug and has enough backbone to land big Red fish. Very light, reminds me of the IMX blanks. (Without the cost) Re: MHX Blanks

I think I will give them a shot on my next buid, any other blanks you know of that would be perfect for a trap/crankbait rod.
Thanks guys Re: MHX Blanks
