Got a customer who wants a fiberglass Lamiglas similar to the Skeet Reese SR705R rod. He just does not like the color of the rod but loves the performance and action.

Best I can tell look like the blank for the SR705R is the BMB84-1E. I also found this information from a while back (2005):

Interested in getting any feedback or comments on this blank. Curious if anyone has additional recent feedback or has built on this blank. Of particular interest the customer wants to throw 1/4 oz cranks. Curious if anyone knows if this blank can effectively throw 1/4 oz cranks.

This blank will throw 1/4 oz with a quality reel quite well. I have three of them and use them often for LC cranks and DD22's. If he is using it around docks it may not be the best application as it does bend through nearly 3/4 of the rod when loaded up and not great for pulling hogs out of cover.

You are also correct on the model number, that is the same as the Skeet Reese rod.
