Super Seeker LM9 guide spacing

Anybody out there have a suggested starting point for the guide spacing for a Super Seeker LM9? This particular rod will be built conventionally, not spiral wrapped. Thanks a million everybody!

Buy whatever guides you plan to use, size 20, 16, 12, and whatever the smallest size youplan to use, I assume 10 - get 10 of those. Now you will have more than you need so you will be able to set teh rod up properly yourself, based ont eh reel you are going to use. I have SS-D8 & SS-SD36 blanks in my shop now, I do not think you're going to need a size 25 stripper to keep the line off the foregrip, if you think you might then order one of thosse as well.

Charles,

If you have a spreadsheet program ie Excel, OpenOffice
I can send you a spreadsheet program that will calculate guide placement based on rod length and number of guides.
You input rod length and select the number of guides. Then choose which placement strategy to review.

That would be great, Eugene! Please send it to me at zack2@verizon.net.
Thanks, buddy!

Billy, thanks advice as well. I agree with you on the butt guide. I'm gonna build a SS36 that I'm getting from @#$%& as my next project.
