I have seen the Black and white twist but do they make a brown and white twist?

If you can not find any you can make it. get a spool of NCP white and make strips on it - if you can find - a permanent brown marker.

Do a practice run on a piece of scrap. A good coat of CP after dying should keep it from running.

Rick,

Make sure you use a UV permanent or add UV stabilizers as often now Permanent just means to washing. A permanant black marker ( famous name) disappears here in SC in a few weeks if I use it as a sign marker in my garden.

Rick,
I haven't seen brown/white around for a long time. Threadart makes polyester thread similar to Madeira in 160 colors and 12 different colors(purple/lavender, red/navy, green/light green, red/pink, blue/white, orange/gold, black/silver, orange/black, navy/gold, orange/green, red/gold, and red/black) in 2 color twist thread. They also make a series of metallic threads and a series of space dyed threads. In the latter they include a brown/white. These threads are 40 wt and have a high glossy sheen. Since they are used for sewing machines, you will need to use color preserver to prevent fisheyes. I found that the old Gudebrod 811 and Lamar's Chroma Seal gave the best color retention. I hope this helps.
