Looking to put a split grip on my spinning outfit. Plan to use a FUJI deluxe reel seat, most likely in an uplocking position to enhance contact with the rod blank, and no use of fore grip. Looking to find a good solid EVA foam grip for the rear grip and fighting butt... Any suggestions, does Baston carry this? I just want a change from cork handle Re: EVA Split Grip Selection

Swampland Tackle (on the left) has these eva split grips for like 5 bucks. I would recommend asking to replace the cork butt cap with a foam one. Just put one on a rod of my own and it looks great. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/06/2009 05:28PM by John Hailey. Re: EVA Split Grip Selection

I've been thinking of doing the same thing on my next rod. Let me know how it turns out. Re: EVA Split Grip Selection

Jay,
Batson has some, and I've used them on a few casting rods. They are very firm and quite nice. [batsonenterprises.com] Joe Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
