how clear is clear for decals?

Other than the water slide type decal how clear are the electric type media decals in the clear type? Will these disappear on the rod surface? Or do they show up cloudy like if you used an avery type label? Re: how clear is clear for decals?

Mine disappear copletely. I use 3M decal material.

The "Electric" decal material featured in Rodmaker Magazine are not clear - the backing material is white, silver, gold and holographic backed and images are placed on backgrounds that match the rod blanks.
Any full color decal printed on clear backing may dissapear when placed on a rod blank and finished unless placed on a stark white backgorund..
