Hello Everyone...... Made a little ording mistake, I ordered a cork handle that has an ID that is bigger then the OD of the blank... Wasn't paying attention. So my question is can I Arbor the cork grib just like I would do for a reel seat or slick butt and will it be ok?
Thank you all for any responses. John Re: Arboring Cork?

Sure can. If it is a close but loose fit a few wraps of thread will work. The foam arbors will work fine also. You could probably pour some foam in if you have the kit but I`m sure it would make a mess. A winding check or ramp will be needed to hide the arbor on the tip end. You can simply make some masking tape bushings, I have done that many times on ice rods. No problems.

You can also use thread Like D or E I wold also wrap it close making sure you have no spacing between what ever you are using to build up the distance from the blank to the cork. if you have large gaps between spacing material you may find the grip spongy when it get wet,
