Scratch on blank

I have never done this or have I heard of any repairs,But I have a 1/4" Scratch in blank. How can I fill it without it being noticable ?.

If the scratch is only on the surface, you can use just about any epoxy. Just wipe it into the scratch and wipe off the excess, effectively letting it fill the scratch. Dont wipe it back out of the scratch itself. Permagloss works well, as does any two part finish or clear epoxy.
