I want to change the color of an old bass rod blank. Can I add a pigment to Perma-Gloss and paint/finish in one step? Also, where would I get the pigment if this can be done? This will be an experiemental rod. Taking a Berkly 7' rod extending it to 8', changing the color and going back with a spiral guide wrap set up. Thanks in advance for any information. Thanks, Steve Re: Pigment for Perma-Gloss

I remember a thread on just how to do that on this board about amonth ago. If you do a search under the topic of Painting or Finishing Blanks you should be able to uncover all the info that was given. I remember them talking about pigment and what kind to get and how much to use. Here you go

[rodbuilding.org] copy and past that into the url window and see if it doesn't take you to the thread where Ralp talked about the kind of pigments to use. Re: Here you go
