clumped cork seal

just wondering, i have a bottle of cork seal that has sorta clumped up ...there's liquid in it.. but a major portion of it is clumped (looks like clumps of baby formula) .. i have placed the bottle in hot water and managed to perhaps thin it down a bit and lose about half the clumps .. but when i stick my spatula into the bottle to mix the rest.. it seems the spatula is coated with very thick sticky substance (probably the ingredient that makes cork seal effective) ...

should i junk it or there is still hope for it ?

Check the bottle, you may be able to thin it a little depending on the type. Water or alcohol usually works.

Get a fresh bottle and take care to seal the thing without cross threading the top - wipe the top clean and seal tight You take care of it and it will take care of your cork for a long long time!

That sounds like what my Mom told me when I moved away to college.

Bill's right junk it and start over with a new bottle.

i still have that bottle... will be using it on a cork grip once i am done shaping.. if it is still usable, i'll continue using it.. if not.. at least i have a fresh bottle around ...

dont remember whose motto is this .. but "i rather have and not need it, then need and not have it"
